Note: All relevant safety measures, not limited to what is mentioned here, should be taken before maintenance or upkeep of the cleaner begins.
I. Prerequisite Work:
Turn off the equipment power switch and disconnect the main power protector.
Turn off all gases.

II.Maintenance of vacuum chamber and vacuum generation system.
1. The vacuum chamber and electrode plate are the working area for treating the workpiece. After a period of use, some dirt will remain in the cavity, attached to the electrode plate and the cavity wall. Treatment:After one month of continuous use, clean all electrode plates and cavity walls with alcohol using a dust-free cloth (paper) to keep the cavity clean.
2. The observation window is for staff to observe the discharge in the cavity when working, which will cause microcorrosion on the glass surface of the observation window after using for a period of time, making it blurred. Treatment:Clean the glass with a dust-free cloth (paper) dipped in alcohol or acetone or directly replace the vacuum glass.
3. The oil used in the vacuum pump is special oil for anti-oxidation. Timely replacement is conducive to the normal operation of the vacuum pump and prolongs the service life of the pump body. It is recommended to replace it once every three months. Frequent attention should be paid to observing whether the oil in the vacuum pump is sufficient. If the oil level indicates that the oil level is lower than the lower limit of use (there is a clear sign beside the oil level table), new oil should be injected into the normal oil level in time.

Third, the specific steps for replacing the vacuum pump oil:
1. Open the oil filling plug (hexagonal wrench) of the vacuum pump oil filling port;
2. Open the oil release plug on the oil valve (pay attention to the direction of the knob switch);
3. Safely release the oil, the oil level in the oil level meter drops;
4. Clean the oil in the pump and tighten the oil plug;
5. Inject new oil from the refueling port, adding the right amount over the lower limit;

The vacuum pump exhaust port is connected to an oil mist filter. The oil mist filter removes nearly 90% of the oil mist discharged from the vacuum pump, prevents pollution of the working environment, and serves as a sound deadener. The filtered oil should be discharged from the oil return port, otherwise the oil will accumulate between the filter element and the body, resulting in oil mist.
It is recommended to replace the filter element every three months.
2. If there is no exhaust, check if the filter element is clogged and consider replacing the filter element if necessary. The plasma generator is a high-frequency device, which involves issues such as frequency drift. It should be adjusted every 2 years after use. The customer should determine the time to contact the manufacturer and return to the factory for calibration and adjustment. Equipment seals should be replaced every 18 months and then every 18 months to ensure vacuum seal reliability.

Fourth, the specific maintenance matters of the vacuum plasma cleaner:
1. Regularly check the vacuum pump oil, regularly check the vacuum pump oil level and oil purity every month, observe the oil level window. When the oil level is close to the lowest red line scale, add it between the top and bottom of the oil red line; observe the color of the oil. Normal oil is clean and transparent. When the oil is turbid (the oil color is gray-brown or the oil level window is fuzzy) and the vacuum pump noise is abnormal, the vacuum oil should be replaced in time.
2.Clean the reaction chamber
Firstly, wipe the vacuum chamber with anhydrous ethanol (usually called alcohol) of degreasing cotton cloth (don't use ethanol to wipe the reaction chamber observation glass). Second, the chamber is introduced into the gas (argon oxygen or nitrogen oxygen), with a plasma reaction to remove residues in the chamber. Treatment time is about 10 minutes, at least once a month.
3, check the integrity of the gas pipeline and vacuum sealing, regularly check the integrity of the vacuum system, after thoroughly cleaning the reaction chamber to avoid leakage of contaminants in the chamber. Regularly check the seal of the reaction chamber door for looseness. Check whether the pipeline route is connected tightly and whether it is aging.
4. Check the power connection
Whether the voltage is matched with the equipment (the voltage of the equipment is 220V (also 380V)).
